Kayak Fishing

Kayak fishing is the fastest growing segment in paddle sports. Fishing kayaks are specifically designed and outfitted with the angler in mind including rod holders, tackle storage and anchor trolleys. If the kayak you want is not “fish ready” it can be custom rigged for fishing.

General Tackle: We sell spinning and spin cast rods and reels, lures, line, sinkers, and plastics. (Live bait is sold next door at the Mini Mart).

Fly Fishing: We carry rods, reels and line from Redington, along with dry flies, streamers, nymphs, bass poppers and more from Umpqua, the largest producer of quality hand-tied flies in the world.

Local Fishing:

New London and the Lake Sunapee Region offers some great local fishing –Pleasant Lake holds 2 state records, Land Locked Salmon and Brook Trout; Little Lake Sunapee is loaded with rainbow trout and bass; Messer Pond has both large and small mouth bass and pickerel. “How they bitin?
